Sensory Wall Panel for Nurseries - Sea Theme, DIY
A modular DIY sensory wall for nurseries and toddler rooms, built from individual 35×65cm (14×26") panels. Choose from our sea-themed selection - fish, waves, shells and underwater elements alongside locks, latches and gears. You choose which panels go on the wall. The finished set matches your room's size and your toddlers' stage of development.
The ocean palette runs in calm blues and greens. It's designed to be soothing rather than overstimulating in a room where children spend long stretches of the day.
Why compose your own nursery wall
Nursery rooms come in odd shapes and sizes, and a fixed set rarely fits the space perfectly. The DIY sea theme lets you choose panel count and specific elements to match your wall. Add more later as the room's needs change - a new age group, a larger space, or simply more activity variety.
How ordering works
- Choose your panel count - start small and expand as your room allows
- Pick from the sea-themed element selection: fish, waves, shells, locks, latches and gears
- We handcraft each panel to order and ship with mounting hardware
- Add more panels later without replacing your existing set
At checkout, use the drop-down to select how many panels you want - anywhere from 1 to 7. Then, in the personalization field, tell us the panel numbers you'd like. Each panel in the listing photos is clearly numbered, so it's easy to point to exactly the ones you want. Whether you're putting together a small starter wall or the full 7-panel set, you're in control of the layout from the first click.

How many panels do I need to start?
There's no fixed minimum. Many nurseries start with 3-4 panels and add more as the room or budget allows.
Is the sea theme suitable for very young toddlers?
Yes. Elements are chosen with smaller hands in mind, and edges are rounded throughout. The calm ocean palette is deliberately less stimulating than our brighter collections - it suits longer daily use in an infant or toddler room.
Can we mix in elements from the bright-color or pastel collections?
The sea theme is its own element library. If you'd like a mixed palette, tell us what you have in mind and we'll advise on a custom order.
Can we add more panels after our first order?
Yes. The modular format is built for this - additional panels will match your existing set.
How is this different from your fixed Sea Themed panel set?
Our standard sea-themed panels come as a pre-built set at a fixed size. This DIY version lets you choose the panel count and specific elements yourself - useful for rooms with non-standard dimensions or specific element preferences.
