Compose your own sensory wall panels DIY kit
Design an activity wall from ready-made Montessori-inspired sensory wall panels. Instead of buying a fixed layout, you pick which of the 24 panel designs to include. You also choose the colour mix and panel count - your room decides the size, not the product.
Each panel design combines a different mix of locks, gears, zippers, latches and tactile elements. Build a wall that matches the age group and the space you have simply by choosing which designs go on it.

At checkout, use the drop-down to select how many panels you want - anywhere from 1 to 24. Then, in the personalization field, tell us the panel design numbers you'd like. Each design in the listing photos is clearly numbered, so it's easy to point to exactly the ones you want. Whether you're putting together a small calm corner or a full 24-panel wall, you're in control of the layout from the first click.
How many panels fit your wall
Each panel is 35cm wide and 65cm tall (14×26"), and panels mount directly against each other with no gap. That makes the arithmetic simple: divide your wall width by 35.
Two rows instead of one. You can stack panels. A single row stands 65cm tall; two rows reach 130cm. That suits a narrow wall, or a mixed-age room. The lower row sits at toddler height, the upper row serves older children and adults. Four panels give 70×130cm, six give 105×130cm, eight give 140×130cm.

Montessori-inspired learning
The system follows Montessori principles of independent, self-directed activity. The child chooses what to do and how long to spend on it. Each panel design offers a different activity, so you can match the wall to the age group and to how the room works.
Installing your DIY sensory wall
Every panel comes with mounting hardware. Fit one on its own, or combine several into a larger wall. Panels sit flush against each other, so a row of four measures exactly 140cm with no spacing to work out.

Frequently asked questions about DIY sensory wall panels
How many panels do I need for my wall?
Each panel is 35cm wide and 65cm tall, and they mount edge to edge with no gap. Divide your wall width by 35: a 1.4m wall takes four panels, a 2m wall takes five, a 2.8m wall takes eight. A single row stands 65cm tall; panels can also be stacked in two rows for a 130cm height. Send us your wall dimensions and we will suggest a layout.
Can I add more sensory panels later?
Yes. Every panel is the same 35×65cm size, so additions line up with what you already have. Many settings start with four or five panels and extend the wall once they see how it gets used.
How do I choose which panel designs to include?
Match the mix to the age group and to how many children will use it at once. For toddlers, favour designs with larger elements - gears, sliders, big latches. For preschoolers and older, designs with zips, buckles, laces and locks give more to work at. In a shared room, a variety of designs lets two or three children use the wall at once without waiting.
Is this suitable for classrooms and therapy rooms?
Yes. The modular format suits classrooms, daycare centres, therapy rooms and commercial child-friendly spaces. You can size the wall to the room rather than fitting the room around a fixed product. Surfaces are sealed and wipe clean, and nothing detaches.
