The company is the North American arm of Experia, a UK-based sensory equipment brand, and has served U.S. schools, hospitals, libraries and homes for close to a decade. We chose a small set of Experia products. They cover what our wooden panels do not: moving light, colour and reflection.

• Bubble tube: a clear column of water with a steady stream of rising bubbles and colour-changing LED light. It is often the visual centrepiece of a sensory room.
• Water bubble panel: a flat, wall-mounted version of the same effect for rooms without floor space for a tube.
• Sensory fiber optics: bundles of soft light-carrying strands that change colour and can be held, draped or laid across a lap.
• Interactive light panel: a peg light board where coloured pegs glow when placed in the panel, useful for sorting and pattern games.
• Infinity mirror: a framed mirror with LED lights that appear to stretch into a deep tunnel.

These are electrical products, and the bubble tube and panel also hold water. Place and mount them as the manufacturer's instructions describe, and supervise use in rooms with young children.
